Heating your pool with the sun can take some time. For example, in mid-July, the pool water can be 17 degrees Celsius and within a week warm up to 24 degrees. It entirely depends on the number of sunshine hours your pool receives and the daily temperature.
Is Pool Heating Necessary?
A comfortable pool temperature is around 28 degrees Celsius. As shown in the graph above, the water temperature rarely goes above 20 degrees, which is still quite cold. How Much Does the Pool Cool Down?
At night, the water always cools slightly during the summer, which means your swimming water always loses 1 to 2 degrees of warmth.
