The SunnyTent Pool Dome Round (Size L+ – ø 17.7 ft.) has a ground diameter of approximately 17.7 ft and a top height of around 102 inches, making it ideal for both above ground pool covers and inground pool cover applications. Two people can assemble the SunnyTent Round L+ in about one hour. For daily use, partially opening the dome takes just one adult a few seconds, while fully opening or closing it requires two adults and roughly a minute.

If installing on a hard surface, we recommend using our hard surface set for secure anchoring. The SunnyTent Round Size L+ fits larger pools — whether above ground or inground — and works with round, square, or rectangular pool shapes.

Its versatility extends beyond swimming pools: it can also be used to cover hot tubs, in-ground trampolines, sandpits, and vegetable gardens, providing year-round weather protection and helping reduce unsupervised access by children or pets.

Setting up the pool dome varies slightly depending on the size of your SunnyTent. Larger sizes, such as the XL, have additional poles and specific instructions for double-pole placement. For detailed instructions tailored to your specific pool dome size, please refer to our instruction videos and manuals. In general, the following steps apply to all pool dome sizes:

Place Locking Pegs: Arrange two locking pegs in a straight line, ensuring they are spaced at the correct distance from each other. This distance may vary based on your specific tent size.
Replace Locking Pegs with Hinged Anchors: Replace the two locking pegs with hinged anchors, driving them straight into the ground until the pins make contact with the ground.
Unfold the Tent Foil: Lay out the tent foil on the ground. Insert the poles into the connectors, ensuring they fit into the corresponding tunnels for each section of the foil.
Position the SunnyTent: Place the SunnyTent between the two hinged anchors. Set the pole sets on the pins of the hinged anchor, making sure they are fully placed over the pins.
Raise the SunnyTent: Lift the SunnyTent upward until it forms a complete circle. To evenly distribute the tent foil between the poles, gently shake the tent both horizontally and vertically.
Secure with Twisting Pegs: Use twisting pegs to firmly secure the tent in place. Be cautious to avoid damaging the foil during this step.
