The cross pole set
The cross pole set gives your round or oval SunnyTent extra strength. Do you want to leave your SunnyTent up in winter? Then the cross pole set provides additional stability during light snow and freezing rain. Please note that due to the size of the SunnyTents, we recommend that only the SunnyTent Round size M and L be set up during the winter. The SunnyTent Round size L+, XL and the SunnyTent Oval size M, L are always supplied with a cross pole set.
The round / oval SunnyTent
The round SunnyTent can withstand relatively strong winds due to its shape. Therefore, the cross pole set is not necessary for the SunnyTent round M and L. However, its use is recommended when the SunnyTent is in a windy place / exposed location. Due to its size, the oval SunnyTent is sensitive to wind. The cross pole set makes the tent a bit stronger, but we still recommend that the oval SunnyTent is only suitable for sheltered, wind-free locations. Also, the SunnyTent should not be used in the winter or autumn.
Use & warranty
The cross pole set is suitable for all different SunnyTent sizes, also for installation on hard ground. You can assemble the cross-pole set in approx. 30 minutes. Please note that after installing the cross-pole set, opening and closing your SunnyTent is a bit more difficult. The cross pole set has a full 2-year warranty.
